PHOENIX-AG Communication Systems and AT&T Wireless Services Inc. announced the general availability of the Roameo Time Division Multiple Access 850 MHz to 1900 MHz-based digital wireless office phone system.
The companies will jointly market Roameo as part of the AT&T Wireless Office Service.
The Roameo system allows users to make and receive calls and access features of their private system when using either a wireless or office phone. Wireless Office Service subscribers can use their office number as their only number, said AGCS.
The company also said it signed a joint marketing agreement with BellSouth Cellular to offer the Roameo system to BellSouth’s customers in 143 markets in the southeastern United States.
