TORONTO-Ericsson Canada Inc. and Rogers Cantel Inc. have agreed to promote and sell wireless office systems and solutions, including marketing programs, business calls and cross referrals, said the companies.
Using Ericsson’s Time Division Multiple Access technology, Rogers Cantel will offer its wireless office service to corporate customers. The service includes wireless office dialing, one number/one voice-mail call delivery, office zone pricing and enhanced in-building coverage.
Subscribers will have one wireless handset that operates as an extension of the office PBX or Centrex service and automatically connects to the macro network when taken outside the office, the companies said.
