BURLINGTON, Mass.-Lightbridge Inc. reported revenues for the third quarter, ended Sept. 30, of $23.8 million, up 52.6 percent from the $15.6 million reported for third-quarter 1998.
The company recorded a net income of $2.3 million, or 14 cents per share, compared with a net income of $264,000, or 2 cents per share, for the same time the previous year.
During the quarter, Entel S.A. in Bolivia purchased Lightbridge’s FraudBuster, which also helped Rogers Cantel in Canada reduce fraud write-offs by 72 percent, said the company.
