I have just received with appreciation the September 1999 issue of Global Wireless and read with keen interest the article on page 24 titled, “Tanzania introducing privatization and increased wireless competition.” The article was very good as it provided to Global Wireless readers worldwide an opportunity to know what is going on in Tanzania with respect to the communications industry.
Please note the following observations, however:
Tanga is a town in the coastal zone and not an island as you put it in the article. The correct island name is Pemba.
Kilimanjaro, which is a region named after the highest mountain in Africa dubbed “the root of Africa,” was misspelled. Also, Dar es Salaam’s Msasani area was misspelled.
Hopefully you’ll effect necessary corrections.
