BOCA RATON, Fla.-SBA Communications Corp. said it signed an exclusive agreement with Georgia PCS Management L.L.C. to provide site acquisition, development, collocation, build-to-suit and equipment installation services.
Georgia PCS is a Sprint PCS Network member, managing certain Sprint markets in Georgia.
The agreement could include up to 200 antenna sites needed by Georgia PCS through March 31, 2001, with new builds accounting for between 50 and 100 sites.
Initial monthly rental rates will be set at either $1,100 or $1,570, depending on the services SBA provides on the sites.
In related news, SBA announced it passed the 1,000-towers-owned mark during November.
