MENLO PARK, Calif.-Customers of the American Automobile Association of Michigan will have a little more help trying to get where they are going. GetThere.com has announced that AAA Michigan will begin using the company’s online travel booking system and wireless technology offering AAA customers access to travel services through mobile phones.
Customers of AAA Michigan can now go to the association’s Web site to book flights, hotels and car reservations through GetThere.com’s booking engine. Customers can also use their Web-enabled mobile phones to access GetThere.com’s Mobile Manager and access their electronic travel itinerary wirelessly.
“We want to provide valuable services for our members when and where they need them,” said Rick Semack, manager of Internet Services for AAA Michigan. “GetThere.com’s leading-edge wireless Internet travel technology makes it possible for us to serve our mobile members through the Internet and while they are on the road.”
