NEPTUNE, N.J.-Centennial Cellular Corp. acquired a 70-percent interest in All America Cables and Radio Inc. in the Dominican Republic for $25 million, the company announced.
The remaining 30-percent interest is held by local partners, led by Abraham Selman.
Centennial Cellular said it plans to construct a Code Division Multiple Access network to serve the major populations and roadways on the island.
