ATLANTA-BellSouth Mobility Inc. introduced its One Number Service in the Atlanta and north Georgia areas, allowing customers to consolidate multiple contact numbers into a single telephone number, while offering a variety of call-routing and management features.
The new service has an option that allows incoming callers to record their name, which is then announced to the customer before connecting the call. This gives the customer the option of accepting the call or sending it to voice mail.
