ATLANTA-BellSouth Mobility Inc. introduced its One Number Service in certain markets, allowing subscribers to consolidate multiple contact numbers-including office, mobile, home and fax numbers-into a single telephone number, while offering subscribers advanced call-routing and management features.
BellSouth is using Call Sciences’ Personal Assistant single-number service platform to power its new service.
“With the new BellSouth One Number Service, people make calls to people, not places,” explained Ed Reynolds, president of BellSouth Mobility. “The service simplifies communications for subscribers and their callers by eliminating the need to remember several different contact numbers.”
