ARLINGTON, Va.-GetCommStuff.com, a business-to-business Web site, was launched at the Telecommunications Industry Association headquarters. The new industry portal includes products and services, jobs, shows and events, news, technology, value-added resellers, and international distributors.
The new site is incorporated as a separate, for-profit entity with an advisory board currently being formed consisting of leaders from all segments of the industry, according to TIA.
“Our board of directors spotted the need for an online communications marketplace that was created by the industry, for the industry,” explained Matthew Flanigan, president of TIA. “This is phase one of the site. Industry participation and alliances will lead us into phase two, which will include e-commerce, Webcasting, investor forums and cyber events.”
