Edgar Online Inc. launched IPO Express2go, a wireless version of its IPO Express Web and e-mail service.
The service is designed to provide wireless access to market data on initial public offerings via 3Com Corp.’s Palm Computing unit Palm VII and Palm.net services.
Edgar also made available an IPO Express AvantGo channel for users of other personal digital assistants, including Palm III, Palm V and Windows CE devices.
“Wireless is a key development area for us in 2000 as we continue to penetrate to B2B and Web markets in this new age of pervasive computing,” said Susan Strausberg, chief executive officer of Edgar Online.
