BURLINGTON, Mass.-Lightbridge Inc. reported that KG Telecommunications has expanded its use of the company’s FraudBuster service as a result of the merger between Tuntex Telecommunication and KG Telecommunications.
According to Lightbridge, FraudBuster allows carriers to maintain a constant evaluation of their users, with reports and graphics showing the customers’ call usage behavior and trends. When something suspicious appears, an alert is generated.
“FraudBuster decreased our loss per case by 38 percent in 1999,” said Jerry Chu, director of revenue assurance division for KG Telecommunications. “In particular, features such as graphs and events helped our investigators identify unusual subscriber call behavior promptly and make accurate decisions.”
