BOULDER, Colo.-SCC Communications Corp. launched a turnkey technology solution offering wireless carriers and other nontraditional telecommunications service providers the ability to route and deliver 911 calls throughout the United States.
“To this point our increasingly mobile society has been well served by the 911 systems developed in the 1960s,” said George Heinrichs, president and chief executive officer of SCC. “Today the call volumes and network complexities demand the next generation of service. [This] announcement is the first step toward this objective.”
