DALLAS-JP Systems Inc. reported it has designed technology for the wireless exchange of vital medical data for STATmail, a provider of home health care communications.
The new system, InfoBeam Healthcare Agent, works with STATmail’s handheld computers to give visiting nurses and other mobile health care providers real-time wireless access to patients’ physicians, health care organizations, and preferred medical and supply vendors.
“The STATmail application is just the beginning of JP Systems’ plans for the InfoBeam Healthcare Agent,” said Ananth Rao, executive vice president of JP Systems. “The health care market is a prime target for wireless data, and STATmail is on the cutting edge of this new era in health care data communications.”
