DAYTON, Ohio-Lexis Publishing, a provider of products and services for the legal profession, and GoAmerica Inc., a wireless Internet service provider, will co-develop a Web-based wireless product and service for legal professionals.
The venture will work to enhance the existing lexis.com Wireless Powered by GoAmerica service. The value-added service will offer applications for legal professionals, optimizing existing wireless access to the site’s research system and result in faster access to Lexis Publishing products.
“We will be addressing many of the time-sensitive demands of the law practice with this improved wireless technology,” noted Joe Korb, executive vice president for GoAmerica Inc.
