PALO ALTO, Calif.-AT&T Wireless Services Inc. and Vicinity Corp. have partnered to provide AT&T Digital PocketNet users location-based information through Vicinity’s BrandFinder wireless application, the companies announced.
PocketNet users can enter a zip code or street address to find the nearest location of interest. When the nearest location is returned, users then can call the location, receive turn-by-turn directions or scroll through additional nearby locations.
For the first time, Vicinity said it also is offering ATM Finder, enabling PocketNet users to find the nearest automated teller machine.
