ATLANTA-XcelleNet Inc., a mobile enterprise management solutions firm, announced strategic technology alliances and partnerships with Microsoft Corp., Research In Motion Ltd., the Symbian initiative and Symbol Technologies Inc. in an effort to develop standards-based solutions for managing smart mobile devices.
The company also joined Palm Inc.’s Solution Provider Program. XcelleNet unveiled its Afaria mobile handheld management solution as well. To drive adoption of the new solution, the company is establishing OEM partnerships, such as that with Pumatech.
