CALGARY, Alberta-Harris Corp. signed a $3.7 million contract to supply a cellular and fixed wireless system to Superior Wireless, a private telecommunications company in Thunder Bay, Ontario.
Superior plans to provide mobile and fixed wireless service to customers in northwestern Ontario, including federal, provincial, municipal and native governments.
Harris noted that Superior is the first nonwireline operating company to be granted licenses to provide B band cellular service in Canada under Industry Canada’s “Policy for Provision of Cellular Service” program.
