ATLANTA-LHS Group Inc. and Adaptive Broadband Corp. agreed to integrate LHS’ billing and customer-care software with Adaptive Broadband’s AB-Access fixed wireless broadband products to offer various levels of customer billing, the companies said.
The levels of billing supported will include flat, tiered and variable rates, packet-based and static. The asynchronous transfer mode element of AB-Access will allow carriers to change service levels according to the amount of bytes of data transmitted, LHS said.
The integrated software solution is expected to be available in the fourth quarter.
