ATLANTA-Digital Microwave Corp.’s Altium broadband fixed wireless access products passed the European Telecommunications Standards Institute qualification tests and now conform to European telecommunications standards for 155-Megabit per second wireless solutions in the 38 GHz frequency band, the company announced.
DMC also announced it is working with HSE Communications Inc. to install and maintain a high-speed wireless network for an undisclosed U.S. telecommunications service provider. The new network will support up to 5,000 multichannel multipoint distribution system customers in the Colorado Springs, Colo., area. Finally, DMC said it plans to change its name to DMC Stratex Networks in August.
