HELSINKI, Finland-Nokia Corp. and Cable & Wireless introduced a global wireless Internet platform.
Cable & Wireless is supplying the data center infrastructure and connectivity to its global Internet Protocol backbone, while Nokia provides the services platform, applications and systems integration services.
The two expect Cable & Wireless to begin offering services on the platform later this year, initially to European customers in the United Kingdom, United States and Asia.
