STAMFORD, Conn.-Wireless media solutions supplier i3 Mobile selected Student Advantage’s U-Wire to provide college-related news to wireless phones, pagers and other mobile devices.
According to i3 Mobile, the U-Wire service will allow users to choose a specific school and receive campus news and sports information, when available, on their wireless device.
“The demand for mobile, personalized information among the youth market is exploding, and U-Wire allows us to provide localized, meaningful information to this important growing segment of wireless users,” said Stephen Maloney, president and chief executive officer of i3 Mobile.
