LOS ANGELES-Handset-based billing and accounting technologies provider Telemac Corp. and Topp Telecom Inc., a supplier of prepaid wireless services, settled their patent litigation.
As part of the settlement, Telemac granted Topp a license to continue its prepaid program and to expand into certain digital technologies. Telemac also granted Topp a license to use its registered TRAC mark in Topp’s TRACFONE brand name.
In return, Topp granted Telemac a license under Topp’s patents, and will pay an undisclosed sum to Telemac.
