WETHERSFIELD, Conn.-Shared Technologies Cellular Inc. signed multiple distribution agreements with NetZero Inc., allowing STC to bundle NetZero’s free Internet software with select STC product offerings.
In return, NetZero will provide its 4 million subscribers a direct link to STC’s Web site.
STC said it plans to launch a promotional program on a TV shopping network through a series of on-air specials that will include STC’s products and services bundled with a compact disc of NetZero’s free Internet access. In addition, travelers renting STC cellular phones will receive NetZero’s software packaged with rental kits.
