LITTLE ROCK, Ark.-Alltel Corp. introduced a wireless Internet service called Web-Unwired, which can be customized by the user at the point of purchase.
Four custom options are available in the 10-market rollout. Customers may choose which services they want to appear at the top of the screen’s home page, which they can modify later from their home or office computers.
Rate plans begin at $6 a month. Alltel is offering the service free for the first two months. The plan allows customers to use their calling plan minutes for either voice or data.
