DALLAS-Intellicall Inc. said it signed an agreement to merge one of its wholly owned subsidiaries with Wireless WebConnect! Inc., a nationwide Internet service provider.
Intellicall will issue to shareholders of Wireless WebConnect! approximately 16.4 million shares of Intellicall common stock. Existing stock options of Wireless WebConnect! also will be exchanged into options to purchase 1.5 million shares of Intellicall, the company said.
Intellicall said the merger will allow it to enter the high-speed wireless mobile data access market and expand its technological capabilities in the public access market.
