KUALA LUMPUR-Malaysian mobile service provider Maxis reported the first live General Packet Radio Service call in Malaysia using Motorola Inc.’s Global Telecom Solutions Sector’s data network solution and handsets.
The GPRS trial, scheduled to last six months, will cover selected business and residential areas, and will include wireless access to the Internet and Wireless Application Protocol solutions.
