STILLWATER, Okla.-More than half the companies with legacy applications and systems are considering extending their data to wireless devices and networks, according to a survey conducted by Esker Inc., a vendor of host access and legacy extension solutions.
This figure is even higher-73 percent-for companies with more than 5,000 employees.
About 78 percent of the survey respondents said they felt business partners will benefit first from legacy wireless enablement, while customers and internal or remote employees come in second and third, respectively.
