AUSTIN, Texas-Motorola Inc. received full certification from the Bluetooth standards body for its two Bluetooth PC products, a PCMCIA card and a USB accessory, designed to provide a wireless link for the exchange of information, including data and voice.
Motorola said the software delivered with the PC products uses a Microsoft Windows Operating System allowing users familiar with Windows to manage Bluetooth transactions. The applications also have been integrated in Microsoft’s Outlook e-mail program to allow exchange and management of data.
Both products are expected to be available to consumers via PC manufacturers during the fourth quarter of this year.
