SAN DIEGO-Leap Wireless International Inc. closed the acquisition of a wireless operating license in Pittsburgh, Pa., from Radiofone PCS L.L.C. for an undisclosed amount, adding approximately 2.5 million potential customers to Leap’s holdings.
Leap also reported it has signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding to purchase a wireless operating license in Evansville, Ind., that will add about 520,000 potential customers to the company’s holdings.
The seller of the license and the financial details of the MOU were not released.
