DALLAS-Texas Instruments Inc. and Advanced Micro Devices will collaborate to develop an architecture for AMD’s Flash memory devices and TI’s digital signal processors-based Open Multimedia Application Platform.
TI said the planned solutions will use AMD’s and TI’s process technology, manufacturing and chip packaging experience to deliver improved data processing and battery life in an Internet-enabled, third-generation wireless device.
