UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif.-ESat Inc. launched its Tera-Point Wireless services in Los Angeles, capable of delivering up to 155 Megabits per second of data capacity.
Tera-Point initially will offer businesses in Los Angeles three service plans based on length of contract. A two-year service contract offering 8 Mbps in both the up and down channel is priced at $400 per month with installation and hardware included.
The company said it plans to expand coverage throughout Southern California into 2001.
