SAO PAULO, Brazil-Vodafone Group and British Telecommunications announced committees focused on the auction of new-generation cellular telephony licenses in Brazil in the C, D and E bands.
William Kiever, president of Vodafone for America and Asia, said the company does not rule out an eventual partnership with British Telecom for investments in Brazilian telephony. “Everything is possible,” the executive said.
He met privately this week with Brazil’s Minister of Telecommunications Pimenta da Veiga after the road show by Brazilian telecom regulator Anatel in London.
