SANTA CLARA, Calif.-GiantBear Inc. launched AudioCub, which allows subscribers to request and receive information from the wireless Internet through audio delivery, the company said.
“AudioCub gives wireless carrier subscribers one more delivery service-audio-that will empower all cellular and PCS customers with the wireless Web regardless of the type of phones they own,” said GiantBear founder Steve Price.
The service allows any existing analog, digital and WAP-enabled handset to receive wireless Internet data on request.
Wireless users set up the parameters and codes they plan to use for different information, including weather, stock and horoscope services.
