ANNANDALE, Va.-Invertix Corp. garnered $11 million in its second round of private-equity financing and said it plans to use the funds to bolster the deployment of its new flagship offering, the IM-AnywhereT.
BlueStream Ventures led the private-equity financing, which included first-round investors Telecommunications Development Fund and NextGen Capital.
Invertix, an infrastructure software product and service developer for Internet and wireless devices, said the IM-Anywhere product allows merchants to obtain the information they need to initiate transactions such as delivering electronic coupons and promotions.
“Invertix is a first mover in the wireless Internet infrastructure space,” said Raj Gollamundi, a partner at BlueStream.
