SAN JOSE, Calif.-Metricom Inc. has agreed to deliver its Ricochet high-speed mobile Internet access technology to Aether Systems Inc. corporate customers.
Under the deal, Aether will become an authorized service provider of the Ricochet network, providing customers wireless connections at 128 kpbs. Aether will sign up customers to Ricochet directly and provide a flat rate based on each end user, the company said. Both companies said they will work together to develop marketing plans and sales channels for corporate customers nationwide.
