KANSAS CITY, Mo.-Sprint PCS launched personal communications services in Fort Walton Beach and Panama City, Fla., through US Unwired Inc., Sprint PCS’ network managing partner in the southeast.
Sprint PCS also announced new offerings for its wireless Web offering, including real-time financial and business information from eSignal and local entertainment content from MobileBuzz.
Sprint PCS said the eSignal service will enable traders and investors to receive portable market indices, market quotes from the three major U.S. markets, news, gainers and losers data and detailed information on company stock performance through Sprint’s wireless Web service.
MobileBuzz will provide Sprint PCS customers with access to current local events information and entertainment choices with time and ticket information via their wireless phone.
