BEDMINSTER, N.J.-While Verizon Wireless prepaid customers are topping off their Big Gulps they can top off their calling cards under an agreement between the country’s largest wireless carrier and 7-Eleven Inc.
The agreement calls for participating 7-Eleven stores to sell replenishment cards for Verizon Wireless’ Local Prepay service, as well as its National Prepay service. Verizon said its National Prepay cards will be available in denominations ranging from $30 for 60 airtime minutes to $150 for 750 airtime minutes.
“By selling our prepay replenishment cards in [7-Eleven] stores across the country, consumers have a familiar place to regularly fill up on additional wireless calling minutes,” said Jeff Tennery, vice president of national indirect sales at Verizon Wireless.
