FRANKFURT, Germany-German telecom company Mobilcom dropped its legal challenge against the German telecom regulator regarding its third-generation license auction last year.
The company dropped the lawsuit because of fears it could lead to the loss of its license, according to international press reports.
Mobilcom won a license for $7.89 billion but was seeking a review of the way the licenses were awarded and the high costs associated with the licenses. The German 3G auction was the most expensive to date for operators.
