WOODBRIDGE, N.J.-Cingular Interactive, formerly BellSouth Wireless Data, ended 2000 with more than 570,000 subscribers to its nationwide data network, compared with more than 200,000 subscribers at the end of 1999.
During the year, Cingular said it added an average of 90,000 net users per quarter. The company reported it added nearly 240 base stations during 2000, bringing its total number to more than 2,000 base stations.
