YadaYada announces partnerships

NEW YORK-YadaYada Inc., an integrated wireless Internet service provider and personalized mobile Web portal for personal digital assistants, announced it will offer Certicom’s security products through its movian VPN, the company’s virtual private networking client for wireless devices.

“Partnering with Certicom enables us to provide the level of security that IT personnel are requesting, in a manner that enables them to simply extend their existing network security investments to wireless technologies,” said David Waxman, YadaYada’s director of business development.

YadaYada also announced a partnership with Mobilicity, which will allow the company to join the Mobilicity Mobility Lab, a research and development facility interested in mobile Internet applications. According to Waxman, “Mobilicity will enhance our strategy of extending the YadaYada wireless platform to the corporate marketplace, and help YadaYada become the leading wireless solution for corporations.”

Finally, YadaYada announced the formation of its wireless corporate services program, which allows providers to extend their technology to wireless PDAs without having to build their own infrastructure.

“The program is a great route for companies looking to expand their technology offering into the wireless space,” said Raj Gupta, president of YadaYada. “YadaYada has packaged all the components any company would need to go wireless-including software, hardware, connectivity, and customer support-together into a one-stop corporate solution.”
