KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa.-TruePosition Inc., which provides integrated wireless location products, announced its flagship Wireless Location System now includes support for GSM.
The TruePosition System, which has undergone technology development and system testing for more than three years, also functions with the AMPS, CDMA and TDMA interfaces. According to the company, the addition of GSM will enable TruePosition to reach a broader base of customers both domestically and internationally.
“Our organization believes that GSM carriers want alternatives to location solutions currently available to them. This development is a direct response to that desire,” said Kent Sander, president and chief operating officer at TruePosition. “With this achievement, GSM carriers can support their installed base of subscribers without the need for costly handset conversions.”
