PORTLAND, Ore.-Mobilian Corp., which designs and develops integrated circuits and software, has completed a round of private funding totaling $35 million, bringing the total amount it has received in funding to more than $60 million.
JAPFCO America Ventures and Dell Ventures led the funding, with Vitesse Ventures and Silicon Valley Bank Ventures also significantly investing.
Mobilian said it will use this round of funding to market its first product, TrueRadio, developed with two previous rounds of financing. Manpreet Khaira, the company’s founder and chief executive officer, explained TrueRadio as “the first major step in the company’s vision of TrueConnectivity: to enable computing and communication services to automatically detect wireless networking opportunities, select the best ones, and connect seamlessly and reliably.”
