BOULDER, Colo.-SignalSoft Corp. said total revenues reached $6.2 million for the first quarter, an increase of 282 percent from the year-ago quarter.
SignalSoft said its software license revenue alone made up 89 percent, or $5.5 million, of the total revenue, and attributed the rest to professional services and maintenance. The company reported a loss of $4.1 million, or 17 cents per share, for the quarter, an improvement from last year’s loss of $2.6 million or 40 cents per share.
“We are successfully executing our growth strategy and continue to expand our worldwide operations, invest in new product development, increase our sales and marketing activities, and extend our technology and marketing relationships with more key industry players,” said David Hose, president and chief executive officer. “While mindful of challenging economic conditions worldwide, we are well-positioned to continue to move forward and make prudent use of our strong financial resources.”
