NEW YORK-In an effort to appeal to global service providers, MobileQ, a software and solution provider, launched the MobileQ MyScape, a multilingual product that enables wireless Web users to customize the content they access on their wireless devices.
The product, based on the MobileQ flagship XMLEdge platform, allows wireless service providers to customize content for their customers and allows subscribers to customize content they access. Most notably, MyScape supports any language character set, MobileQ said.
“Carriers can use MyScape to launch specialized corporate applications-such as mobile e-mail and sales force automation-that are seamlessly integrated with consumer services, thereby increasing subscriber loyalty for both consumers and enterprises,” explained Suren Pai, president and chief executive officer of MobileQ.
Canadian wireless carrier Bell Mobility is the first customer for MyScape. This is not surprising because MyScape provides the customization features for My Mobile Browser, an application-profiling engine for the wireless Internet market, which MobileQ Inc. and Bell Mobility launched together last week.
“MobileQ’s mission is to provide the ultimate mobile user experience,” Pai concluded. “As more people access the Web through wireless devices, the management and personalization of content will become a greater issue for service providers.”
