BELLEVUE, Wash.-Verizon Wireless introduced a new option to its wireless service plans allowing customers to add Canada to their national SingleRate plan for an additional $10 per month. Customers who choose the option can use their monthly minutes to call to and from Canada, and throughout Canada while traveling, without incurring long-distance or roaming charges.
“The plan is a valuable option for customers who use their wireless phones to conduct business or stay in touch with friends or relatives in Canada,” said Kelley DeLaney, region president for Verizon’s Pacific Northwest Region. “This is especially important to customers living in border states such as Washington, New York or Michigan who travel back and forth from Canada daily.”
