VERNON HILLS, Ill.-ArialPhone Corp., which provides wireless devices and voice-enabling software, has chosen Ultralife Batteries Inc. to supply batteries for ArialPhone, a voice-activated wireless product the company plans to release next month.
The long-term contract includes the design and manufacture of a custom, polymer rechargeable battery for ArialPhone’s earset, which fits over the user’s ear for hands-free calling. The battery should provide two to three hours of talk time, with a two-hour recharge time and standby time of four to five days.
