BURLINGTON, Mass.-Lightbridge Inc. announced it anticipates second-quarter revenues will fall 8- to 10- percent short of previous expectations, due largely to a decline in non-strategic hardware sales.
The company expects second-quarter revenues to be between $45 million and $46 million, with earnings per share in the range of 19 cents to 20 cents. Lightbridge reported second-quarter 2000 revenues of $45.2 million, or 23 cents per share.
“As we have indicated previously, hardware sales are not a strategic business for Lightbridge, and we are phasing out of this segment,” said Pamela Reeve, chief executive officer of Lightbridge.
