TCS completes compatibility tests with Grayson

ANNAPOLIS, Md.—TeleCommunications Systems Inc. said it successfully completed compatibility testing with Grayson Wireless’ Geometrix wireless location system. The testing assures wireless carriers that the two systems can operate together to provide an E911 Phase II solution.
Geometrix provides the technology to locate a 911 caller, and the TCS Xypoint location platform routes the location information and provides public safety answering points with a caller’s longitude and latitude coordinates.
