Terabeam plans Dallas launch

SEATTLE—Optical Ethernet service provider Terabeam Corp. has announced Dallas will be the next location for its service.
Terabeam will offer Fiberless Optic service to Dallas-area companies for connecting to other offices and the Internet at fiber-optic speeds without the fiber. Instead, connections are made by directing an invisible beam of light through the air, primarily through office windows.
Terabeam said it successfully introduced the network in Seattle and Denver earlier this year.
